I am pretty liberal when it comes to politics. I'm very pro gay rights, because love is love. Why should it be an issue? Additionally, I also support organizations such as It Gets Better and Stand Up To Cancer. I am also a supporter of the printed word. I love reading newspapers, magazines, books, etc. I will never own an eReader of any sort (Kindle, Nook, etc.). [Edit: I got a Kindle for my birthday. And I love it.] Reading is my escape from the chaos of life. There's nothing quite like the smell of a book, the feel, the texture, the crinkling of the pages.
I love PostSecret, TFLN, Regretsy, Failbook and Lamebook, Comixed, Cyanide & Happiness, XKCD, and Not Always Right. I also like reading (big fan of murder mysteries among many others), photography, listening to music, hanging out with friends, photography, going to concerts, scrapbooking when I have time, listening to the radio (I'm addicted to Pandora), and seeing movies. I have an uncanny ability to remember names of authors and books if I've seen them before.
I also like picking apart words to figure out what they mean (I attribute this to taking 3 years of Latin.) One of my not-so-secret life goals is to be on Jeopardy! (I've tried out seven times, but have never made it past the online test). And one of my dreams is to see as much of the world as I can.
"I just don't want to live my life without ever having lived my life."
